Using

This video gives a quick demonstration of what it looks like:

The app requires location permission to enable sign in and out, even manually. You must select this option otherwise you'll be unable to use it.

The app is broken up into 4 sections at the bottom:

Today View

This is the default screen the app will show when loaded. It shows the date, your current signed in status and the option to sign in or out.

You may also have a QR code, this can be presented to the terminals in reception to quickly sign in. Tap once to reveal the sign in and sign out buttons, then hold your phone up with the QR code facing the camera.

Certain people will be able to see people signed in by group, as well as anyone who has signed out that day too.

Sign in History

The second option at the bottom will show you an overview of when you signed in and out each day.

Safety

Third tab from the left, this will show your evacuation point when you're signed in.

Authorised Staff will also see Evacuations. This allows you to start or take part in an evacuation and view reports of previous ones.

Preferences

The tab on the far right, this allows you to set your preferences. Please set these however you best suits you. These can be changed at any time if you wanted to make use of them later.

Automatic sign in is very convenient, but is not 100% reliable, so look out for notifications when you enter and leave site. Normally it should just say signed in or out, but sometimes it says couldn't sign you out. Simply go to the today view and sign out manually. You will need to grant run in background permissions to enable this feature.

You can also choose to show a map, change language, enable dark mode, etc.
