Switching Between Office Accounts
For most people we now have several Office or Microsoft accounts to manage. Personal, Work, Second Job, Governor etc... This page will outline some useful tips for how to keep each one separate and manageable.
Use Chrome with multiple Profiles
This is an easy way to have multiple "Profiles" at the same time, each profile can be logged in to a separate office account making it easy to switch or use both at the same time.
Create a new profile
Step 1 - Click on your profile in the top right of chrome
Step 2 - Click on Manage people
Step 3 - Click Add Person
Step 4 - Give it a name, for example "Badminton Work" or "Badminton Governor" then click on Add
Switching Profiles
Step 1 - Click on the profile icon in the top right of chrome
Step 2 - Choose the name of the profile you want to use.
Each profile will open in a separate chrome window with a different icon. If you sign into Office with one profile, it will not effect your sign in on another.
With this setup you can have each profile logged into a separate account and easily switch between them.
Switching between Teams
Teams also allows you to add multiple accounts.
Step 1 - Click on your profile picture in the top right of teams then choose sign out.
Step 2 - When back on the Welcome to Microsoft Teams page, click on Use another account or sign up.
Step 3 - Sign in with your second account e.g. your badminton governor account.
Step 4 - Once signed in with your new account, you can click on the profile picture in the top right of teams and it will show you all the accounts you are signed in with, click on one to switch
