Boarding House
The Sixth Form Centre Boarding is a unique place to live. We have a variety of rooms used for Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth Boarders, as well as communal spaces, such as the Common and Cosy Rooms and Brew Rooms on each floor.
In Lower Sixth, Boarders have twin rooms. This allows you to get to know your peers closely, create strong social networks and become fully integrated in Badminton life.
In Upper Sixth, Boarders have a single room to themselves so they can focus on their academics and fully get a feeling for university life.
All of the bedrooms in the Sixth Form Centre are furnished with plenty of storage space for clothes, books and more, as well as desks for your own study space during evenings, weekends and on your study periods. There is also a sink in your room, as well as a mirror. All our rooms are bright and airy and are very easily personalised so that they can become your homes!
We do move around room allocation in the second term; this allows Lower Sixth Students to get to know a wider range of peers, and lets you learn about a new set of Students surrounding you. We aim to create a space of friendship, support and diversity, and boarding at Badminton really enables this to flourish.

On both floors, there is a Brew Room available for use during the day, here you can make a hot drink, have a snack and use the fridges. Students love having this freedom and use it to their advantage as it allows similar to independence that university life offers.
