Classroom ICT Facilities

Most classrooms have the same classroom capabilities, we try to keep all rooms as identical as possible to make it as easy as possible for teachers to teach in any room they happen to be in.

A standard Senior School classroom currently has:

• 2-3 Whiteboards, the middle of which will have a short throw Casio laser projector.
• Wall mounted speakers connected to the projector or computer.  In most classrooms the projector must be on for the speakers to work.
• A computer on a desk either facing the class or to the side.  The computer has a dedicated monitor but also connects to the projector.
• A webcam and dedicated microphone for Teams/Hybrid Teaching

Junior School classrooms have Smart TV's instead of whiteboards and projectors.  All Smart TV's support wireless display mirroring and have interactivity built in.

Some classrooms are now being fitted with Wireless display adapters which allow you to connect a laptop over Wi-Fi to the projector and speakers.  A guide for connecting is available here.
