Wake the Tiger and Thorpe Park

This weekend, Sanderson got the choice to go on two amazing trips. On Saturday, a group of year 9’s went to the interactive theme park, Wake the Tiger where the girls walked through and were able to play and engage with the exhibits around them. Eri in year 9 said “it was really fun, there was so much to do in such a tiny space. The beginning was really funny.”

On Sunday, some year 9’s and 10’s went to Thorpe Park along with Bartlett and some of Sixth Form. The girls were off as soon as we got to the park to try and fit in as many rides as possible before it was time to leave. Janelle in year 10 said “I really enjoyed the trip; I liked going on all the rides and it was a really cool experience”. Michaela in year 10 said her “favourite was the Saw ride” and managed to go on it twice!

Many girls and staff finished the day rather soaked after going on the Tidal Wave ride, and with lots of donuts and other snacks for the journey back to school.
