Windsor Castle
This weekend, some of the Year 8 boarders came over to have tea in our common room. They were able to ask about life in Sanderson ahead of them coming here next year. Miss Govind gave them a tour of the house as well and before they returned to Bartlett, they all played some table football.
The current boarders in Sanderson spent their weekend revising for their upcoming exams but also found time to go out to their boundaries to spend some time away from school with their friends. As usual, the art and music block as well as the gym were also popular throughout the weekend.
On Monday, all Year 9s and 10s went to Windsor for the day and had a tour of the castle before being able to explore Windsor and having some time to go shopping. This is what Evangeline (Y10) had to say about the trip: “I had an amazing time on our school trip to Windsor! Visiting the famous Windsor Castle was a truly meaningful and interesting experience, learning about the rich history and culture of the British monarchy. We walked through the streets near the train station and went shopping which was also a fun way to explore the local area. The combination of educational and fun activities made this trip engaging and memorable.”
