Sixth Form Centre
Welcome to Sixth Form
Sixth Form at Badminton is unique because we have a diverse group of students that board here. This is evident throughout many aspects of everyday life. Boarders enjoy celebrating each other's national holidays together. The students move rooms each term to further learn about their peers' cultures and further widen their social networks to ensure they always have a friend to turn to.
"Boarding at Badminton is great because I am able to meet other girls my age from all around the world" (Upper Sixth Boarder)
The Common Room is a bright space to refresh at break times and lunch.
The Sixth Form Centre is made up of modern single or twin study bedrooms, ‘brew rooms’ on each floor, a kitchen, a communal social area that has been recently refurbished and a laundry room for the girls to use. One factor that is special to Badminton is that on the Ground Floor we have quiet study rooms that the Day Girls have as their own space during the school day, and we also have classrooms where many of the students take their lessons. They also have access to the wider facilities of the school, including: the swimming pool, Art Department and Music Department. As well as our brand new Sports Centre.
"Badminton is located in a lovely part of England. I love spending time in my boundaries with my friends, unwinding and taking a break from revision" (Lower Sixth, Weekly Boarder)
The Cosy Room is the perfect spot for a chat, or some quiet studying on the desks.
We are a team giving the students a sense of community. We aim to give the students encouragement, support and guidance which helps them to succeed in their final years at Badminton. Sixth Form is the final chapter in our girls' Badminton story as we endeavour to bridge the gap between school and university.
"Boarding gives me a sense of autonomy and teaches me about the importance of responsibilities for my life when Badminton ends" (Upper Sixth, International Boarder)
We offer numerous spaces for students to study during the day, including this popular spot
