Orienting your SMART Board
When working with multiple monitors or different size monitors you may need to orient your SMART board. This process tells the software which monitor is currently on the TV and makes sure that where you touch or use the pen lines up with the computer you are using.
Orienting your board takes a few seconds but it does require you have the SMART notebook software installed.
Step 1 - Find the blue SMART Board icon in the bottom right of the windows notifications tray. It may be hidden under the arrow.
Step 2 - Click on the icon and choose Orient
Step 3 - Press the Spacebar on your keyboard until the window is shown on the SMART Board
Step 4 - Click on each of the targets until the process is complete. The more accurate you are when clicking the targets the better the calibration will be.
Your SMART board should now line up with windows.
If you change your monitor layout by switching from duplicate to extend or unplugging or disabling a monitor then you may need to repeat this process.
