Decorating for Christmas
This weekend in Sanderson the Christmas spirit continued to flow through the busy hustle and bustle of the house as we held Christmas tree decorating in each of the year group common rooms. The Year 10s began decorating their tree in gold in silver, as the Year 9s went for a pink and blue theme. The Year 11s finished off with a silver and blue theme.
Amaliya, Year 11: “We picked sliver and blue to represent the Badminton colours and theme”.
Each common room was filled with Christmas music, it echoed through the hallways as the girls sang along. The Year 9s carried on with their festive filled afternoon with Christmas card making and watching Elf – they really got into the Christmas spirit.
Natasha, Year 9: “It was very special because we only make Christmas cards once a year”.
Chloe, Year 9: “I haven’t played with glitter in so long, it was very fun”.
Laylo, Year 9: “A cute way to socialise with your friends and give your family a loving Christmas card”.
The year 11s thoroughly enjoyed playing the Wii Games after the excitement of decorating the tree. They showcased their competitive sides as they participated in tennis, bowling and golf. As the sun began to set, a couple of the girls enjoyed a film in the common room to wind down after an exciting day.
