Bowling and Exmouth Beach
On Saturday, the Year 9s went out for an afternoon of bowling. Nina loved it so much that she “wanted to go back” as soon as she got on the bus home and Sarah thought it was “very nice to go bowling with friends” because they “cheered each other on and shared good food”. Some girls bowled for the very first time in their life but had no problem keeping up with their friends. Judith was very pleased that she “even got a strike”!
The next day, two of the Sanderson girls, Rose and Sasha (Y10), joined a Sixth Form trip to Exmouth where they spent a warm and sunny day on the beach and ate fish and chips. Rose thought it was “fun to go to the beach and to meet new people”. Sasha added that it was “a great trip to the seaside”. She particularly enjoyed “getting to know the 6th formers and the staff”.
