Gloucester Cathedral and Gloucester Quay

This weekend a lot of the girls in Sanderson went on a trip to Gloucester Cathedral and then to the Gloucester Quays – an outlet to do some shopping. Gloucester Cathedral is known as a place where some hallway scenes for the Harry Potter movies were filmed. Katharina, Year 11, liked that she “was kind of in Hogwarts” and Nina, Year 9, agreed that “as a Harry Potter fan, the cathedral was really fun”. Martina, Year 10, said that it was “nice to get out of school with some of her friends”. Upon returning to the boarding house, some Year 9s were inspired to watch ‘Harry Potter’ to spot the scenes filmed in the cathedral but ended up watching ‘Frozen’ instead. On Sunday, the girls went out to their boundaries or enjoyed practicing their instruments in the music block.
