Exeat - London trip and movie night
This weekend a handful of the Sanderson boarders were out of the house for their exeat weekend! On Saturday, many of the remaining girls took a trip to London which they absolutely loved!
Connor, Y11: “On Saturday, we went to London to go to the London Dungeon and the Apollo Victoria Theater to see Wicked. Oh my god, it was honestly one of the highlights of my time at Badminton. When I got offered to go see Wicked, I just couldn’t resist. The London Dungeon was a fun exhibit to go around, wondering what would scare me next. I got a gold picture of myself right at the end on free fall ‘Drop Dead’ ride. But the absolute best part has to be Wicked. The beautiful clean singing, the effects and the sort of steampunk clash with fairytale set- I loved it all. I’m so glad I took the opportunity to go!”
Lottie, Y9: “This was a fabulous trip and I enjoyed every minute of it. My favourite part was the chance to see the musical ‘Wicked’ which was an amazing performance, closely followed by the realistic tales and experiences of the past that we witnessed in the London dungeons.”
Natasha, Y11: “It was such a great experience to go to London and I really enjoyed the plans the teachers had made for us, especially the Dungeons! My friends and I had an amazing time there.”
The girls returned from their full day at 9pm and were met with domino's pizza in the sixth from centre.
Meanwhile, other Sanderson members had a movie night, watching ‘Glass Onion’ and snacking on crisps, popcorn, chocolate and biscuits. Mehalia, Y9: “It was really fun and I enjoyed the snacks. We watched a murder mystery movie which was really interesting and we discussed what was happening with each other and the teachers.”
