Christmas Party
Last weekend in Sanderson was all about Christmas! On Saturday morning, everyone went to the Christmas Bazaar, had a look around and had nice food. The Year 9s even hosted their own stall with two games, ‘Pin the Nose on Rudolph’ and ‘Hoho – Hole in one’.
In the evening, everyone in house came together to celebrate this year’s Christmas party. After eating pizza and chicken wings, we played some games the Y11s had organised. There was a Kahoot quiz on interesting, and perhaps surprising, facts about the teachers and staff members in school and the boarding house and afterwards we played a variety of fun party games, including ‘Musical Chairs’ and ‘The Present Stacking Challenge’.
Then it was time for Secret Santa! Everyone enjoyed gifting and receiving a present and showing it to their friends. The Year 11s finished off the evening with a lot of singing and dancing. After such a busy day, Sunday was rather quiet, and the girls went out to their boundaries and started packing. Everyone is looking forward to the Christmas Holidays!
