Creating and Organising Teams
Creating a Team is the online equivalent of creating an office. This online office will contain a group of people that need to work together, collaborate and share resources in order to achieve a single or many goals. New teams must be created by IT Services at this time.
Just like with real life offices, the more offices people have to work in, the less organised and more disjointed they will be. Try to make sure that you only create one team per group of people.
Channels
Channels are the correct way to organise the work your Team undertakes. Each channel should represent a specific function of that team. For instance, a Finance team might have the following channels:
- Purchases
- Deptors
- Loans
- Invoicing
- Fees
