Outlook

Every computer in the School has the full Office 2016 suite of software installed. The preferred way of accessing your emails is by using Outlook 2016. When you load Outlook it will automatically load your email profile for you. 

Staff email addresses will be of the format: username@badmintonschool.co.uk

Email Prefixes

All emails sent internally must be prefixed by either INFO, ACTION or URGENT.  This is to facilitate staff with busy inboxes being able to quickly decide how to treat each email.

e.g. URGENT: Car blocking emergency access or INFO: dates for your diary

  • URGENT: for Urgent pressing matters or information.
  • ACTION: when you require an action from the person your emailing
  • INFO: information or details not requiring a response or action.

Email Signatures

The School operates a managed signature system. This software will automatically configure and manage your default signatures when sending email in school. You are able to edit the signature on individual emails when required but it is strongly advised that you always use the default signature with the default salutation of “kind regards”.

Should any information on your signature be incorrect or need updating then please contact Network Services via the helpdesk who will gladly make any amendments.
