Managing Notifications

Teams can be a noisy and distracting place to work at times.  There are many ways that you can tweak the notifications to ensure you get just the right amount of messages and reminders.

Edit your Global Notification Settings, Including Email Notifications

Step 1 - Click on your face in the top right of teams and then click on settings

Step 2 - Click on notifications on the left and then adjust the settings to suit your needs.

Mute a Chat Conversation

Step 1 - Open the chat panel in the left of Teams

Step 2 - Click on the three dots next to the chat or person you wish to mute and click Mute Notifications
