Remote Working and Access

The school provides many different services that allow you to access your emails, files and even school software from home or on a personal device whilst working in school.

All of these services simply require a working internet connection and a web browser of your choice. I.e. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari etc…

• Ideally you should use web based remote access services such as isams, foldr & office 365 as these are the most reliable and offer the most seamless user experience.  
• If you have a need to access custom software that is only installed on your work computer you will need to look into the alternative remote desktop services

Mobile apps are available for Foldr, iSAMS, & Firefly and most of the Office 365 apps

In all cases the School strongly recommends Chrome for accessing remote systems.  There are known issues with Citrix and Safari.
