Activating Personal License

You might be assigned with a personally assigned Sibelius for Teams license, which allows you to use Sibelius anywhere in the world.

1. Check your email for one from Avid.
2. Click the "Get Started" link, which takes you to the Avid website.
3. Create an account using your School e-mail address.
4. Open Avid Link on your Surface.
5. Sign in with your newly created username and password. (top left option)
6. Go to the products tab on the left hand menu.
7. Find Sibelius ultimate and then press the little arrow next to open and select License.
8. In the license tab, you should have the option to redeem or use license. 
9. It will take a few minutes to activate, open Sibelius once done.

You can check the help section to confirm, it should not say "network license". If it does, the personal activation hasn't worked.

You should visit IT Services office to have your Sibelius Link removed and re-installed, this normally fixes the issue.
