Invite people to watch 

Once you have created your live event, the next stage is to invite people to watch.  You do this by sending a link in whatever method suits you best.  You could send a calendar invite with the link in the description, it could be as part of an email, perhaps an iSAMS mailer to parents or even by publishing the link and information to a firefly page.

Step 1 - Find the event in your calendar in teams and click on it

From here you can edit the event to change any details or add/remote presenters.

Step 2 - Click on Get attendee link.  This will copy the link to your clipboard. 

Step 3 - Paste the link into your email, invite or mailer.

When the person clicks on the link they will be taken to a page that will allow them to watch in their web browser or watch in teams if they have it installed.

If you chose Public for the event, they will not need to login.  If you choose org-wide or specific groups then they will be forced to login before they can watch the event.

The same link can be used after the event to view the full recording for those who didn't make the live showing!
