Presenters vs Attendees
By default everyone invited to a meeting will be a Presenter, sometimes it may be beneficial to make certain people or everyone but you an Attendee instead. See the table below for how this effects their permissions:

Change who can present before a Meeting
Step 1 - In Teams go to the Calendar or Team and click on the meeting that has already been scheduled.
Step 2 - Click on Meeting Options in the top bar
Step 3 - Change the option Who can present? to Only me or Specific People (note that Specific People does not work with channel meetings yet)
Change a persons status during a meeting
Step 1 - Open the participants pane
Step 2 - Hover over the name of the person you wish to edit and click on More Options ...
Step 3 - From there, select Make a presenter or Make an attendee.
